Thanks! I have quite a few feeders and and if I don't make sure they're stocked in the morning the Blue Jays remind me! Next to the feeder in the photo there is a large suspended tray. I add a handful of dry dog food to the seed each morning for the crows and ravens. They're usually not far away, but a couple of CAWs from me brings them if they happen to be some where else.

Evening Grosbeaks (Coccothraustes vespertinus). They come through twice a year, often in large flocks.

Thanks. I didn't mention the pigeons! Many years ago an old guy decided to raise some pigeons. He eventually decided NOT to and they became part of the local fauna. One day, at the feeder there was one pigeon... how cute! Next day there were 10... Still cute how they all say together on the pine branch. A few days later there was a big flock and they still come pretty much every day. I don't mind and too bad if I did!
